OUR SCORECARD

Top 25

What does it mean to be top 25? That is a tricky question. In one way, being “top 25” is about what our community defines as top 25. It means living with shared values. It means prioritizing the strategies that are laid out for each one of our spokes. And it means execution of the outcomes that are defined in the impact statements for each spoke.

In another way, being “top 25 means” comparing ourselves to other communities. In this way, “top 25” is a rank. Our rank is different from how we measure the progress of the transformation plan because not every community measures the things that are in our plan. For example, we might think it’s important that our residents “love our city,” and we can measure that, but if other communities don’t measure how much their residents love their city, we can’t compare our progress to them. So, we are currently working on a community scorecard that will compare our performance and trends to other community’s performance and trends.  If you’d like to help us finish the community scorecard, sign-up. We need your help!

In the meantime, check out the scorecard below from our 2018 Annual Report, which shows our community performance and trend in nine key areas of transformation.
